I built my first commercial websites in 2006, and began trading as Highlight Web Design full time in the summer on 2007. Initially, my focus was on creating attractive, accessible websites that met accessibility standards, but it didn't take long for me to realise that this was only one small part of the puzzle.
As the years have passed I've become an internet marketing specialist, not only building beautiful websites, not only driving traffic to the websites, but making sure that they convert. My sales and marketing expertise are at the core of Highlight, allowing me to get to the root of your businesses needs, so that I can bring you the leads and prospects that you want.
Prior to starting Highlight Web Design, I spent the majority of my working life in various areas of IT, both for start-up small businesses and international blue chip companies. I've worked in virtually every role in IT; I've done Sales (online, in the field, on the telephone and retail), Marketing (I've been involved in and ran marketing campaigns, both online and offline), and Technical and Customer Support (I have an extensive background in both computer hardware and software, and years of experience of explaining computer terms and problems to lay-people).
I oversee every aspect of every job providing you with a level of hands on service that website design studios are unable to match.
